The truth about Reagan...
Reagan nearly tripled the federal budget deficit.
Income inequality grew during his war on the middleclass.
He tried to sabotage social security.
He lied about the "welfare queen" in order to drum up support for his cold-hearted anti-humanity campaign.
His deregulation policies led to Savings and Loan crisis in which 747 institutions failed and had to be rescued with $160 billion of taxpayer monies .
He vetoed an anti-Apartheid act that placed sanctions on South Africa.
He illegally sold weapons to Iran (Iran Contra scandal)and used the money to fund an illicit war in Nicaragua and then LIED about it!
And no...he did not single handedly bring down the Soviet Union. There were actually many factors involved.
WE MUST SAY NO TO REAGAN DEIFICATION!
